WHY OSP?

WHY OSP?

Because I believe that everyone deserves to feel strong, capable, and supported in their fitness.

Because this is a space to show up as you are.

Because the wellness industry is nuts, and I’m here to provide a road map.

First thing’s first though: why the name?

Meet Onyx!

My best friend, the gal that has got me moving again amidst injuries and mental health struggles, and the official CFO (Cute & Furry Officer)

But beyond how special she is to me, Onyx as a stone symbolizes protection, strength, and balance.

This is exactly how you should feel in your fitness:

the power to move through hard things should come equal parts from strength and softness.

And now, meet your coach:

I’m Bianca, and I’m here to rewrite what you think about fitness.

Education:

Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (NSCA)

Certified Personal Trainer (NASM)

Certified Nutrition Coach (NASM)

Certified Functional Strength Coach (MBSC)

Certified Women’s Coaching Specialist (GGS)

Certified Pre & Post-Natal Coach (GGS)

Women & Girls in Strength Sports (WaGiss)

B.S. Gender Equity in Public Health

My story:

I’ve been through competitive athletics (I was an equestrian vaulter for 12 years, and still coach to this day!), an eating disorder, inventing my own college degree, un-f*cking my relationship with food, many many personal training certifications, and a cross-country move.

I’ve worked in gen-pop group fitness, DI college athletics, and everything in between.

The one thing that remains true across every domain I’ve been in?

I’ve seen the ways that nourishment — through the way we move, the way we eat, and the way we speak to ourselves — can change lives for the better.

Most importantly:

I value the fact that all of my clients are humans first.

And I try to show my clients that humanness in me, too.

I love fitness, but sometimes it’s just not that serious.

So beyond ‘just’ a coach, I am:

  • Openly bisexual

  • A former athlete

  • An arguably over-committed dog mom

  • Seattle-born & raised, pseudo-Californian from 2017-2024, and currently loving life in Boston

  • Likely to be found wandering Homegoods with a coffee in hand

  • A budding Lego connoisseur

  • And, of course, a triple water sign + astrology girlie

I believe that movement is the single most empowering way to care for yourself, and want you to feel strong enough to say yes to whatever life throws at you.
